Our purpose is to:
- To educate and encourage members to take concrete actions that express their stewardship of creation.
- To strive for significant reductions in the church’s energy and water consumption and waste in order to offset our carbon footprint.
- To advocate for policy changes that will slow climate change and mitigate its impact.

The Creation Justice Ministry Team spearheaded a drive to put 104 solar panels on the church roof. We also upgraded our main HVAC system and 7 small a/c units, installed LED lighting along with fans throughout the building. The Team also worked on making the kitchen greener by switching to biodegradable plates, china cups and metal silverware.
Recycling is a big part of our Creation Justice Ministry. We collect used alkaline and lithium batteries and take them to a recycling center.
Plastic shopping bags are also collected, cut in strips and woven into mats for the homeless.
These items may be dropped off in the church’s Donation Center just off the narthex.
