Worship with The Palms

In-person worship services

sanctuary at Church of the Palms UCC Sun City

We hold worship services in our sanctuary every Sunday at 10 am.

In-person COVID protocols (updated October 2023):

It is important for us to make sure everyone is safe and makes the best possible decisions for their own health. Because of the high rate of COVID infection and transmission within our community, we are implementing some new guidelines for all public meetings – this includes Sunday worship, memorial services, and meetings of any groups.

  • If you test positive for COVID, stay home.
  • Masks are strongly urged for all gatherings at The Palms. We have an abundance of masks at the church and will gladly share.
  • If you have a non-COVID cough, even if it is allergies, wear a mask.
  • If you feel more comfortable staying at home, please do so with our blessings.

Thank you for keeping the safety of our community in mind. If you are feeling poorly, stay home, with our blessing. Working together got us through COVID before and it will again.

We’re located at 14808 N Boswell Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.

February 18, 2024: This is the first Sunday in Lent. The scripture for today is from Psalm 25: 1-10. Pastor Jim is discussing how God can show, teach, lead, and guide us in this Lenten Season. As always, his message is srong and inspirational. The Sanctuary Choir sings an anthem which reminds us that God is always with us, to take our hand and guide us. Joanna Esty is the liturgist and leads us in a prayer of confession and affirmation. Elaine Klauser and Jennifer Hoppe will again share their talents at the organ and pianos. David Klingensmith and Beth Moore each announce new classes that are beginning later in February. More information can be found on the website at www.thepalms.org.
