In-person worship services

sanctuary at Church of the Palms UCC Sun City

We hold worship services in our sanctuary every Sunday at 10 am.

In-person COVID protocols: We ask unvaccinated people to mask – others may do however they feel comfortable, masking up or not.

We’ll adjust these as needed when the CDC advises.

If you feel ill, please do not come to worship. If you feel it is still unsafe to attend, you will get no negative judgment—we trust you to make the best decision for your family’s health. We support your decision.

We’re located at 14808 N Boswell Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.

September 17, 2023: Pastor Jim tells us what he did while on sabbatical. He will be preaching from Romans 14:1-12. The Sanctuary Choir is back and will be singing, Pastor Paul, Rev. Shea Darian, Anthony Park and Jennifer Hoppe lead in worship.

September 10. 2023: This is the Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost. The scripture is from Exodus 12: 14 and Pastor Paul says it is a one word sermon. I don’t believe that will be the end result, but I am interested to find out what one word he has in mind. “Ohana” in Hawaiian means family. We are welcoming Pastor Jim back from his sabbatical. What one word sermon would you want to share with Pastor Jim? Andrew Jordan will be sharing his musical talents with us for the special music portion of the service. Our choir will be returning next week.

Worship themes for September:

September 3rd: Pastor Paul will be preaching. This is the last Sunday before Pastor Jim returns. Who are the lost sheep? We have no further choice than to look in the mirror. Read Matthew 18:12-20.

September 10th: Pastor Jim will be back with us. Pastor Paul will be sharing a one verse one-word sermon! Can you guess what verse? Here’s a hint: Read Exodus 12:14. Can you guess the word?

September 17th: Pastor Jim will be preaching and sharing his stories from Sabbatical. The choir will sing. It’s a “Can’t miss!” Sunday.

September 24th: Pastor Paul will be back in the pulpit! Read Exodus 16:2-15. God always provides. God always has. God always will.
