The LBGTQ+ Ministry Team had an impactful and groundbreaking 2023! Highlights include the Rainbows Festival with Pride Phoenix, the Pride Parade, Open and Affirming Sunday Service, and Transgender Remembrance Day. The team was also able to establish strong connections within the community to successfully position us for future opportunities, which will ensure that we are able to make an even bigger difference in 2024.
The team recently came together to brainstorm programs, projects, and activities that will be incorporated into the 2024 schedule. Each one of these events will be motivated by our mission to extend an extravagant welcome to all people, regardless of how they identify, and advocate for justice and peace for the LGBTQ+ community. We would love to have you (yes, you!) join our team, in any capacity that you can, to continue driving the impact of the LGBTQ+ Ministry Team.
