In a world that often feels divided by headlines and political shifts, it
is easy to feel the weight of uncertainty and unrest. But at Church of
the Palms, we believe that the antidote to fear is connection, and the
blueprint for survival is community.
We invite you to a special Conversation Cafe, a space dedicated to turning our collective concern into compassionate action. This isn’t just a meeting; it is a gathering of hearts and minds focused on how we can build resilient support systems for everyone here and within the broader community.
Our Mission: From Chaos to Community
The goal of this Cafe is to brainstorm and plan practical, loving ways to help our community not just survive, but thrive. We will focus on:
Building Bridges: How to foster understanding and safety in a chaotic social climate.
Creating Networks: Connecting those who have resources or skills with those currently in need.
Social Justice with Heart: Transforming our passion for justice into sustainable, localized support systems.
Potluck & Fellowship
A main dish will be provided to keep us fueled for our work. We invite you to bring a side dish or dessert to share as we break bread and engage in dialogue.
