Fun, silliness, and strategy this Saturday!

What is a Service Auction? Our Service Auction will have silent and live bidding components. People have donated items which range from a timeshare to artwork to a t-shirt and everything in between! Skills have been donated from dinner to transportation to sewing projects and everything in between!

Some of the donations will be part of the Silent Auction. Participants can go around the room and write their names on the bid sheets trying to outbid each other. Fun, silliness, and strategy all come along to play!

Our remaining donations will be auctioned off in a live auction format. From my personal experience, this is, by far, one of the most fun activities we do at The Palms. You won’t want to miss it!

Bring your appetite, a free meal of brats (or vegan brats) will be served. Bring a dish to share for the potluck of side dishes. And, of course, bring your checkbook. After all, the event is a fundraiser for our Homeless Jesus Sculpture.

The sculpture will be arriving soon and will be dedicated in November with our UCC Conference Minister, Dr. Toni, and the sculptor, Timothy Schmalz, in attendance.

I hope to see you this Saturday, from 3 to 5 p.m.

Shalom, Paul

P.S. Did I mention bringing your checkbooks?
