All Souls Reflection & Labyrinth Walk

Doing Grief Community Healing Project
Wednesday, November 1st, 6:30 pm

The holidays of Dios de Los Muertos and Halloween, and the Christian season of Allhallowtide are celebrated at a time of year when it was once believed that the veil between the worlds of the dead and living was thin, so deceased loved ones could visit us on earth.

Family and friends gather at this time to remember loved ones and honor death as a natural part of life.

Before the labyrinth walk, we’ll gather at 6:30 pm for a brief reflection, music, and lighting candles to remember our deceased loved ones. Those of all faiths and no faith are welcome. Free event. Come and bring a friend!

What to bring: Feel free to bring a small flashlight or lantern for the walk and a photograph of each loved one you wish to honor to place on the ofrenda (remembrance altar) created by artisan and art teacher, Ellen Merchant.

“Love is how often you stay alive, even after you are gone.” – Mitch Albom
