I never imagined adding a medical emergency to my life’s bingo card, but when Wendy experienced a seizure, The Church of the Palms showed us what love in action truly means. The care, support, and sacred space you provided gave us the room we needed for healing. Recovering from a seizure is a slow, day-by-day journey, and if we had to walk this path, I am profoundly grateful to walk it with you.
Life often presents us with a choice: complain about the heavy disruptions or count our blessings. We could grumble about the frightening close call, the sudden life changes, or the mounting medical bills. Instead, we choose gratitude.
What a blessing that I was by her side. What a blessing that Michael called 911 so I could perform CPR, and that emergency services and hospitals are so close. What a blessing to have Pastor Mark’s visit and a trusted leadership team to carry the load while we were away.
What difficulty are you facing today? Can you find your blessings right in the middle of it? We look forward to being with you this Sunday!
Shalom, Paul
