Aloha! I am back in the office, deeply refreshed and filled with profound gratitude after an incredible, renewing time in Maui. Celebrating forty years of marriage surrounded by the breathtaking horizons and peaceful rhythms of the island was a beautiful reminder of the sacred, sustaining power of rest. I return to our community with a full heart, vivid memories, and a completely renewed energy for the vital work of compassion, equity, and progressive advocacy that defines who we are.
An enormous, heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible staff, dedicated lay leaders, and wonderful volunteers who covered for me and kept both our church and the front office running so smoothly while I was away. Your collective care and leadership are a true testament to the collaborative, deeply supportive spirit of this congregation. You didn’t just hold down the fort; you ensured our shared mission continued to thrive.
