Whew—it is a scorcher out there! While the summer heat is just starting to hit its peak, our community’s heart is only growing warmer.
It would be easy to stay inside where the AC is blasting, but there is something deeply special about gathering in worship during these dog days of summer. When we show up for one another, the heat fades into the background, outshone by our shared fellowship.
Even in this blistering weather, our outreach doesn’t stop. Our shower trailer is still rolling out every week, providing a refreshing, dignified oasis for our neighbors on the street.
Whether we are sweating together in service or singing together in the pews, we remain fully committed to our core mission: sharing God’s unconditional love, justice, and extravagant welcome to everyone we meet.
