This Sunday the Phoenix area is celebrating the Pride Parade. The Church of the Palms will be represented literally by a bus load of people (including Pastor Jim) and several others meeting us down at the parade site. The bus will pull out of the parking lot at 6:40 am. Set those alarms, my friends!
For those of us remaining in Sun City, we will gather for worship as we normally do. I thank God that we can celebrate with our friends each week and be the church.
Whether you are going to the parade or attending worship or anything else in between this Sunday, know that you are loved by the holy presence of the Divine and called to be the church in word and deed. The rainbow connection we have with one another is awesome and it is holy!
