Come worship with us every Sunday at 10 am in the sanctuary. There are also several special worship services throughout the year which we promote in the weekly bulletins and the monthly newsletter, The Palm Leaf.

Need a ride to worship? Call the church office at 623.977.8359 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday to schedule a ride to the service.

March 9, 2025: It’s the first Sunday of Lent. Join us today as we reflect on scripture from the Gospel of Luke, chapter 4, verses 1-13. Pastor Paul’s message focuses on The Potato Salad Promise. Our liturgist is Jeannie Brandenberger, and we are blessed with music from Jennifer Hoppe, Elaine Klauser, and the Sanctuary Choir.

March 2, 2025: It’s Transfiguration Sunday, and today’s scripture comes from the Gospel of Luke, chapter 9, verses 28 through 36. Pastor Paul’s message is titled “Yes! It’s on the Test!” Judy Pinter is our liturgist today. Jennifer Hoppe, Pastor Jim, Doris Gott, and the Sanctuary Choir bless us with today’s music.

Worship themes for March 2025:
March 2: Transfiguration Sunday. Read Luke 9:28-36. Pastor Paul will be preaching. How can we turn the mundane to the marvelous? How can God lead us to see the holy all around us?
March 5: Ash Wednesday. We will gather with our sister congregations in the area to worship. Sun City Christian Church (9745 W Palmeras Dr, Sun City, AZ 85373) will host us at 5:00 pm.
March 9: First Sunday in Lent. Pastor Paul will be preaching. Read Luke 4:1-13. What is the potato salad promise? How can we die living rather than live dying?
March 16: Second Sunday in Lent. Pastor Jim preaches from Luke 13:31-35. What do chicken wings, a fox, and Jesus have in common?
March 23: Third Sunday in Lent. Pastor Paul will be preaching. Read Luke 13:1-9. Can we trust God in joy or in pain to be our God? Where is God when bad things happen?
March 30: Fourth Sunday in Lent. The Prodigal Son Story is the scripture – Luke 15:1-32. Who do you play in the story? The Prodigal, the parent, the elder brother, the fickle friends, or the slaughtered calf?
