Come worship with us every Sunday at 10 am in the sanctuary. There are also several special worship services throughout the year which we promote in the weekly bulletins and the monthly newsletter, The Palm Leaf.

Need a ride to worship? Call the church office at 623.977.8359 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday to schedule a ride to the service.

April 20, 2025 EASTER SUNDAY 10:00a: It’s Easter Sunday, and we’re blessed to have you join us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. In his message, Pastor Paul speaks to us about “Stone Rollers.” Suzanne Boisclair serves as our liturgist, and as always, we’re uplifted by music from Jennifer Hoppe, Elaine Klauser, and the Sanctuary Choir, along with a special performance by Doris Gott.

April 20, 2025 EASTER SUNDAY 8:00a: Pastor Jim, Jennifer Hoppe, and Doris Gott along with Pastor Paul lead in mucic and the spoken word on this Resurrection Sunday. Pastor Jim preached from Isaiah 65. “Behold, I am creating a new heaven and a new earth.”
April 17, 2025: Our Maundy Thursday service is led by the clergy of Desert Garden United Church of Christ, United Church of Sun City, Sun City Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, and The Church of the Palms United Church of Christ. Wendy Whitlock, Jennifer Hoppe, Rev. Bill Ute, Rev. Brady Abel, Rev. Paul Whitlock, and Rev. Jim Alexander lead in music and the spoken word.
April 13, 2025: Join us this Palm Sunday as Pastor Paul shares an inspiring message titled “Choosing the Right Parade,” based on Luke 19:28–40. Today’s service features Dr. Terry Olthoff as our liturgist, a special message from Jeannie Brandenberger, and the beautiful musical offerings of Jennifer Hoppe, Elaine Klauser, and the Sanctuary Choir. We’re blessed to have you worship with us!

Worship themes for May 2025:
May 4: Read John 20:19-31. Pastor Paul will be preaching. We all have experienced trauma – spiritually, physically, and/or emotionally. What can we learn from our scars? What can falling into a sewer ditch teach us?
May 11: Pastor Paul will be back in the pulpit. Bring your appetite – He’s talking about breakfast! Mmmmm. Read John 21:1-19.
May 18: Today is Mental Health Sunday across the United Church of Christ. The members of our WISE Steering Committee will lead us in worship today. Pastor Jim will be preaching from Psalm 88 as we ponder the question, “Where is God in the Unknowing?”
May 25: Read Acts 16:13-15. What’s the difference between a maintenance church and a missional church? Pastor Paul will be preaching.
