The joy was palpable! We were in the sanctuary, without masks, and we could sing! Wow! And the joy spilled out in standing and applauding for a hymn. Wow!
We had another new member join! Wow! Last Sunday was a holy time for me. God is doing some great things at The Palms and each Sunday builds upon that foundation and becomes a “can’t miss Sunday.”
This Sunday is no different – it’s Open and Affirming Sunday. We celebrate that we are accepted and loved – we don’t have to hide behind masks – literally! We are called to be who and what God created us to be! Wow!
How appropriate that on a Sunday in which we celebrate diversity, Shea Darian will be ordained. I hope you can be in worship Sunday morning and afternoon. I hope you can be the church on Sundays and every day.
