In-person worship services
We hold worship services in our sanctuary every Sunday at 10 am.
In-person COVID protocols (updated October 2023):
It is important for us to make sure everyone is safe and makes the best possible decisions for their own health. Because of the high rate of COVID infection and transmission within our community, we are implementing some new guidelines for all public meetings – this includes Sunday worship, memorial services, and meetings of any groups.
- If you test positive for COVID, stay home.
- Masks are strongly urged for all gatherings at The Palms. We have an abundance of masks at the church and will gladly share.
- If you have a non-COVID cough, even if it is allergies, wear a mask.
- If you feel more comfortable staying at home, please do so with our blessings.
Thank you for keeping the safety of our community in mind. If you are feeling poorly, stay home, with our blessing. Working together got us through COVID before and it will again.

Need a ride to worship? Call the church office at 623.977.8359 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday to schedule a ride to the service.
We make video recordings of our worship services available to watch the following Monday morning (see below); you can also find them on our YouTube channel and Facebook page.

Worship themes for July 2024:
July 7th:
Pastor Paul will be preaching. Read Mark 6:7-10, 13. Jesus sent the disciples out in his name asking them to limit their carry-on
baggage. What kind of (emotional) baggage do we try to bring along on journeys? It’s time to lose our baggage!
July 14th:
Rev. Mark Makowski will be our guest preacher. Read Amos 7:7-15. Justice is in the heart of Amos; is it in our hearts?
July 21st:
Pastor Jim will be preaching from Ephesians 2:11-22. We are joined together to make one holy temple.
July 28th:
Pastor Paul will be back in the pulpit. He will talk about his days as an Olympian 40 years ago. What medal did he get? Gold? Silver? Bronze? Come and find out! What has the world learned from the Olympics? Read Ephesians 3:20-21.
