Remembering our saints this Sunday

For all the saints, who from their labors rest…

If you see a turtle on a fence post, you know it had help. None of us arrived where we are without the help of others. It might have been parents, siblings, grandparents, or other relatives who guided us on our journey. More than likely on your list of mentors you have teachers, pastors, and or Sunday school leaders. What about friends, neighbors, and coworkers?

If you and I were to list the people who have made a positive impact on our lives, the list would be long – thanks be to God!

This Sunday in worship, we’ll be remembering our saints who have passed away since November 1 of last year. Many of us have experienced the death of family, neighbors, or church friends this past year. I’ll be listing the church members who have died and the loved ones of those who have called upon the pastors of The Palms to officiate a service.

I hope you can make a special effort to be in worship or to watch it online. It’s one of my favorite Sundays.

Shalom, Paul
