Boxes to the left of me, boxes to the right of me, boxes behind and in front of me! Boxes! Boxes! Boxes! That sounds like the beginning of a Dr. Seuss book! While much of my life is like one of his made-up stories, this one is quite real.
In case you haven’t heard, the fabulous Whitlocks are moving from Peoria to Sun City West. We’ll close in about a week and a half on our current and new house. We are downsizing from our large home on a small lot to a smaller-but-still-plenty-big home and huge yard. I’m particularly looking forward to the extremely large backyard – almost a half acre! There is lots of room for cacti and flowers and trees.
Packing is an all-too-real reminder that I have too much stuff! Plus, there are a lot of questions… Which of my cacti and succulents and plants do I take, and which do I leave? How do I transport my delicate plants?
Through all of the mess in my house and in my mind, please know that I’m thankful for your support which makes this move possible.
