I’m still rejoicing from Sunday’s musical presentation

I usually put pen to paper on this communication piece on Monday mornings and that is the case this week. On this Monday, I must admit that I’m still rejoicing from our musical presentation. My gratitude goes out to Pastor Jim who organized and planned everything out. Sure, his solos are great, but what I appreciate most in his leadership is that he makes everyone else sound their best! From his guidance as we practice, to his kind words as we struggle, he shares his knowledge and skill with the volunteer church musicians. Knowing what pieces will sound best and when to challenge us and when to pat us on the back, his leadership blesses us.

He can excel, in part, because we have an accompanist who is fabulous! Jennifer Hoppe is amazing! Her Bach piece was phenomenal – it’s worth the time to listen to it again (and you can access it here to hear it over and over)! Her work each and every Sunday is a huge blessing for us.

I’m also grateful to Sanctuary Choir! Our group of volunteers produces some awesome music. We are able to make some wonderful sounds because of Pastor Jim’s leadership, Jen’s support, and the choir’s determination and hard work.

We are blessed! I hope you tell Pastor Jim, Jen, and the choir of your gratitude. If you are interested in joining choir, there is still time to get involved in our Christmas presentation.

Shalom, Paul
