When God created humanity, there were no duplicates, only a kaleidoscope of unique individuals. Every hue, every body, every story, every stage of life, every transformation—all were declared “very good.”
From Genesis to the prophets, the Gospels, and Acts, the consistent message is clear: God embraces all without partiality. God isn’t confused or surprised by queerness, trans bodies, nonbinary beauty, or expansive love. The divine expectation isn’t for you to diminish yourself, but for the Church to understand and embody this boundless love.
Jesus didn’t create restrictive boxes; he shattered them, building a table where everyone belongs: the forgotten, the fabulous, and those still seeking their path. Your gender doesn’t hinder grace, your love isn’t a detour from holiness, and your identity isn’t a problem – it’s a revelation. You’ve always been evidence of a love far grander than we can imagine.
There’s no fine print limiting God’s goodness or blessings. God loves everyone, unequivocally.
So, speak your truth. Loving yourself and claiming your identity, especially in a world that tries to erase it, is holy resurrection work. If you’ve been told otherwise, if God’s love was limited, that was not divine truth; it was fear disguised as theology.
The true Gospel proclaims: You are not a disruption; you are a revelation. You are not a question mark; you are a living exclamation of divine creativity.
So, take up space, not just in June, but always. Shine unapologetically. Love without fear. Live without shrinking. The God who crafted the wonders of the universe looked at you—yes, you—at your body, your story, your love, your becoming – and proclaimed: “Yes. That one. Very good.”
Shine on, my ONA siblings.
Shalom, Paul
